Matthew B. Palazzolo Scholarship

Note: in order to be considered for this scholarship, all applicants must also complete a general scholarship application in the Scholarship Portal.

One award will be given in the amount of $4,000 annually.

The Matthew B. Palazzolo Memorial Scholarship is a perpetual, annual need-based scholarship established in 2021 to provide financial support to students who have actively supported UCLA’s LGBTQ Center’s mission and vision to ensure that Matt’s passion for social justice and equality lives on through its recipients. Each contribution to this fund will ensure that the annual scholarship amount grows each year in perpetuity. Read the Center’s mission and vision, and find more information on Matthew B. Eligibility:

  • Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at UCLA.
  • Demonstrated financial need.
  • Demonstrated that they have actively supported UCLA’s LGBTQ Center’s mission and vision to ensure that Matt’s passion for social justice and equality lives on through its recipients.
  • Undocumented students encouraged to apply.
